Another comments on Chainey from his previous owner :
"He was a very impressive kitten – he had a huge coat. He had good weight and boning and a lovely body. His topskull has always been smooth. He really didn’t have any terribly growing pains – always compact and substantial. He was a superb show cat – he loved to show and it always made a hit with the judge and the audience. He was not used at stud too much and unfortunately I did not show all his grandable kittens. He would have been the sire of more winners had I shown them. He sired a beautiful black female who is a grand and she now has a gorgeous litter sired by a beautiful Boberan male. I actually had 3 or 4 that I could have granded from that litter. I also bred him to his half/sister (GC Catillak’s Ever Dream of Pluperfect) and they produced a wonderful cream male who gained a lot of regional points as a kitten. Both of those had several Best awards. The cream male was even noted by one judge as the best color of cream she had seen in 15 years! I think Chainy has the ability to produce lovely coloration. He also sired a grand champion blue tabby male who has the classic pattern. A brother of that male has quite a few grand points – he is a classic red tabby/white male. His dilute kittens have been wonderful for their pale coloration. So you have many wonderful attributes to work with from him. He throws outstanding kittens with good boning and who are low to the ground."
